Until recently, the Benedictine nuns actively participated in the fieldwork and the processing of agricultural products. The monastery shop offers teas, soaps, cheeses, and liqueurs from in-house production.

At the moment the monastery land is leased to a tenant farmer. It is the largest agricultural operation in Val Müstair, with grain cultivation and livestock farming. The Monastery still owns around 2,000 hectares of land and the mountain lake Lai da Rims.
