In our guesthouse we host people seeking rest and relaxation in the marvellous Val Müstair

But you can also retreat to the alpine pasture above the convent and our alpine hut of the neighbouring Vinschgau in South Tyrol.

Our guesthouse

In the guest wing of the monastic complex there are four double and one single rooms with shower/WC and one single room with a bathroom in the corridor. In the former farm hand accommodation by the farm are three further single rooms (B1-B3) with shower/WC and two single rooms with a shared shower on the floor (A1 and A2). For women only we have an additional three single rooms with shower/WC (C1-C3).

All guests get to share a lounge with a piano. When you dine in the 18th century Hermanin Room you can enjoy vegetables, salads, berries and fruit from our organic garden.

Experience Benedictine spirituality

‘After the guests have been received, they should be invited to pray’ (RB, 53, Verse 8).

With this in mind, we invite our guests to take part in our Liturgy of the Hours. The convent church and the Chapel of Mercy are also open to all visitors for individual prayer. The Rosary Chapel also offers a healing and peaceful atmosphere.

Experience history

In the convent museum and shop our guests get a glimpse behind the convent walls and experience 1,250 years of convent and architectural history.

Courses

We offer professionally led fasting and retreat courses, herbal workshops and weeks for people to help out at our herbalist's workshop. In the calendar of events you’ll find the entire programme.

Our guesthouse is closed in November.
